Bio

Raised in middle-belt Nigeria, Dara came to the US to study. She has a bachelors degree in vocal performance and a masters degree in the theology. She currently lives in Portland Oregon with her husband Ian, their two kids, Odette and Carsten and their menagerie of seven pets. When she isn't writing, singing, or painting, she enjoys going on walks, listening to podcasts and reading with her husband, talking with friends from all over the world, and playing with her highly imaginative, endlessly entertaining children.
